.....So after about 1 hour, and 45 minutes in the waiting room (yes, you read right!) we got to go back. She was wonderful in that wait time... magic markers and Brain Quest kept her busy while I got to visit with a highschool friend I hadn't seen in years.
.... Then came the questions, "What are you doing?!?!... Why are you peeing in a cup??? Isn't that messy?" My answer: "The doctor has to make sure everythings ok and I don't have any bo-bo's down there, ya know." "oh yeah, mom" No big deal.
... Then we went through the nurse's station to our room and after another 30 minute wait she got pretty antsy. Well, I can't blame her I was pretty antsy and starving myself.
...When the nurse came in she asked me if that was the doctor. Well, when the nurse left, K asked me if my doctor was "black or yellow". I acted like I didn't know what she meant and she said, "you know mom, I saw a doctor out there who was yellow, you know yellow hair like you, mom." Through the eyes of babes!
